Introduction to Essential Oils


What are Essential Oils?


Essential oils are a volatile liquid that is distilled from plants and their

respective parts such as seeds, bark, leaves, stems, roots, flowers.


What benefits do certified pure, therapeutic grade essential oils provide?


Essential oils represent the regenerating, oxygenating, and immune strengthening

properties of plants. Essential oils are so small in molecular size that they can

quickly penetrate the skin. The oils are lipid soluble and capable of penetrating

cell membranes, even if they have hardened. Essential can affect every cell of the

body within 20 minutes and be metabolized like other nutrients.


Essential oils application methods


Topical: The process of placing an essential oil on the skin, hair, mouth, teeth,

nails, or mucus membranes of the body.

Direct Application: The process of applying the oils directly on the area of

concern.

Massage: The process of massage is the stimulation of muscle, skin and

connective tissues using various techniques to help promote healing, balance, and

connection.

Aroma Touch: This is a simple yet powerful process for applying certain oils along

the entire length of the spine and on the feet. The application of 8 essential oils

has been shown to help achieve feelings of stress reduction, immune

enhancement, inflammatory response reduction and homeostasis.

Diffusion: The is the easiest and simplest way of putting a fine mist of the whole

oil into the air for inhalation. When diffused, essential oils have been found to

reduce the amount of airborne chemicals and to help create greater physical and

emotional harmony.
